ParkingSOFT firmware based equipment is unique to the industry and contains minimal moving parts and circuitry. Our functionality is based on a Software as a Service “SaaS” model. SaaS is a business model for software deployment in which the end user does not directly possess or own the software. Instead, users pay a subscription fee to a provider, or “host”, for the use of the software and access to the program over the Internet. The actual software program typically resides on the provider’s server but in some cases is installed on the user’s network. However, in either case, the functionality of the software is realized by the use of Web browsers such as Internet Explorer or Firefox.

For ParkingSOFT, hardware such as gates, ticket dispensers, and fee computers, all contain real-time network communications capability to our hosted software. SaaS is an all encompassing business strategy that integrates our hardware and software. We are a “firmware-based company”; the firmware is embedded in all of our devices, such as our touch screen-based fee computers. This firmware communicates with the Internet-based software and means fewer moving parts to break down and less that can go wrong. ParkingSOFT is on the leading edge of tomorrow’s technology.
